- Excellent weldability and high heat-induced intergranular strength due to its low carbon content.
- High resistance to heat-induced intergranular corrosion.
- Good formability and malleability, ideal for bending and stamping processes.

- Good mechanical strength and hardness in the annealed condition.
- Not magnetic in the annealed state, but may exhibit magnetism after cold working.
