Applications
- Blades for shredders and mills
- Inner linings for cyclones and chutes
- Components for metal and concrete recycling equipment
- Wear plates in cement and steel plants
- Parts subjected to continuous friction without impact
Characteristics:
- Ultra wear-resistant steel with a nominal hardness of 600 HBW
- Designed for extreme wear environments, lower toughness than HARDOX 400
- Lower cold-forming capability due to its high hardness
- Good weldability with precautions in pre/post-heating
- Shorter lifespan under impact, but excellent in pure wear
